Let’s start with the Word. What is the meaning of the Word in scriptures?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1: 1
When I first read the verse for the first time, I understood the Word as life, creation, which comes from God.
As I continued and studied the part “the Word was with God, and the Word was God” it actually led me to Jesus!
Jesus was first with God and as a Son of God, He himself is a God. Jesus later separated from his father as he came to Earth to give his life for us.
By a Word (Jesus), God created the Earth. Jesus gave his life so that through Him we could get a new life and be reconciled to our Father.
So, by Word, we keep ourselves close to God, by the Word, we speak a new life! By the Word we bring Jesus to all! AMAZING!!!
just to add one more thing, by the Word we come to the Father! The word of God is Jesus and when it is put on paper, it brings us to the Bible. I see the Bible as a love letter from our Father to come home to Him. The Word is Jesus as truth, way and life!
By the Word, which was with God and which is God, people are healed and delivered. Jesus ❤️ That verse is amazing!
The next question is how we are going to apply this verse in our everyday life, in our walk with Jesus?
As Jesus is the Word, by accepting the Word, we believe in it. By baptism in the water and by the Spirit, we enter into the Kingdom and by we receiving the Holly Spirit, we are becoming like Jesus.
Having His Spirit inside ourselves, we need to spread the Word which is Jesus, which leads us to the Gospel.
By Word we speak and bring to the world everything Jesus is, the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Holly spirit makes us act like Jesus, to preach the Gospel, to heal the sick and to cast out demons.
